Therapy for Men
Life can be a grind.
As a man, feeling like you are spinning your wheels or just plain ‘stuck’ can be a horrible feeling. On top of that, if your relationship is suffering or you can’t stand your job, life can be a grind.
Perhaps at times you are unsure of yourself or are confused about your feelings or lack thereof. Maybe you have been drinking a bit too much or are burying yourself in work. You know that what you are doing to distract and ignore isn’t working any longer, and it’s time to find a better way.
Whatever ‘IT’ is, you do not have to be with ‘IT’ alone.
Life can and often will throw us curveballs; it’s what we do with them that matters.
Whether it’s a relationship issue, a career issue, or something personal you have never told anyone before, we can work on it in therapy.
I help men overcome and transform the stuff that isn’t working.
The space I offer is safe to bring your whole self. Through the relationship we build, you will have an experience of being seen, heard, and listened to.
I have years of experience working with men and male-identified clients. Through personal and professional work along with leading, organizing and participating in men’s groups, I have developed an ability to connect with other men in a non-judgmental, open and curious way while also being grounded, practical and mindful.
Together, we will work on areas of your life you would like to improve.
I utilize a variety of cutting-edge modalities (or ’ways of working’) based on my training, experience and skills. The therapy is focused on you and your needs and preferences. The ‘work’ often integrates traditional therapies with experiential and mindfulness-based techniques.
The men I work with cultivate more confidence, clarity, and power.
It takes courage to come to therapy and ‘do the work.’ It may not be easy, but the benefits can be life-changing.
